Ochoco Irrigation District is wrapping up construction on phase one of the OID Infrastructure Modernization Project. With grant funding from the United States Department of Agriculture – NRCS and in coordination with the US Bureau of Reclamation, our contractor Taylor Northwest is putting the finishing touches on a new pumping station on the corner of Combs Flat and Laughlin Roads. Despite a very short construction window (October – April), our team has met our goal and Prineville Reservoir stored water is now being delivered to patrons using all new pumps for the 2024 irrigation season.
