OID and our contractor Taylor Northwest have completed the installation of the Iron Horse Piping Project. The District started sending water through the new pipeline in early April and has been delivering Prineville Reservoir water using the new pump station completed last year. Thanks to a great team in the City of Prineville and Taylor Northwest the project was completed on time and on budget. The next phase of the OID Modernization Project will be under construction during the 2025-26 non-irrigation season and will include building another new pump station at our Relift Pump Plant off NE Barnes Butte Road.
